Carmen Byrd is currently a Law Clerk and will be joining our firm after graduation as a Litigation Fellow in the Washington D.C. office of Sanford Wittels & Heisler, LLP.
At George Washington University, she serves as the Secretary to the Moot Court Board and is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. Ms. Byrd has interned at the Office of General Counsel for the National Endowment for the Humanities and has served as a research assistant for GW criminal law professor Donald Braman. Prior to joining law school, Ms. Byrd trained professionally as a ballet dancer at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
