Carolyn Hahn is an Associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Sanford Wittels & Heisler, LLP.
Before joining SWH in January 2010, Ms. Hahn worked as a trial attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice. She was a member of the Tobacco Litigation Team that prosecuted the United States' civil racketeering case against major cigarette manufacturers; the action resulted in a finding of liability after a nine-month trial. Ms. Hahn also worked in the Civil Frauds Section at the Department of Justice, where she was responsible for investigating and litigating cases on behalf of the United States under the False Claims Act. Before serving at the Department of Justice, Ms. Hahn was a litigation associate at Kaye Scholer LLP, where she represented a multi-national pharmaceutical company in major products liability litigation.
Ms. Hahn has also worked as legislative counsel for Workplace Flexibility 2010, a research, outreach and consensus-building policy institute at Georgetown Law, and served as Director of Correspondence for Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign.
Ms. Hahn is practicing under the supervision of David Sanford, a member of the DC bar, while her application to the DC bar is pending.
