Kyle Chadwick is a Senior Litigation Counsel in the Washington D.C. office of Sanford, Wittels & Heisler, LLP.
Immediately before joining SWH in 2010, Mr. Chadwick was a senior litigator in the Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Competition, where he worked on merger and antimonopoly cases. From 1999 to 2008, he was a trial attorney and senior trial counsel in the Civil Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. In that capacity, he represented the government in a wide variety of lawsuits brought by corporations seeking money damages and injunctive relief, primarily in the United States Court of Federal Claims. He also handled dozens of appeals before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Chadwick received numerous awards, including two special commendations from the Civil Division and awards from the Defense Logistics Agency and the United States Postal Service for litigation on their behalf.
Before joining the Department of Justice, Mr. Chadwick was an associate at Spiegel & McDiarmid LLP and Morrison & Foerster LLP, both in Washington D.C., where he worked on regulatory and litigation matters for clients including municipalities, consumer cooperatives, and the State of Alaska. Mr. Chadwick also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Pamela A. Rymer, Circuit Judge, of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and as an intern for the Office of the White House Counsel and the Department of Justice.
In addition, he has been an instructor at the National Advocacy Center in Columbia, South Carolina, and is a former co-chair of the Government Contracts Section of the Court of Federal Claims Bar Association.
