Hardeep Dhillon |
Hardeep Dhillon graduated with honors and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and South Asian Studies.
While at U.C. Berkeley, Ms. Dhillon taught undergraduate courses focused on religion and ethnic violence in South Asia, as well as world religions. Her interest in teaching stemmed from her earlier work tutoring disadvantaged youth during her underclassmen years. Ms. Dhillon also served as a research assistant for anthropologist and professor Saba Mahmood and explored the European Court of Human Rights’ interpretation of the freedom of religion. Ms. Dhillon’s interest in religion culminated into her honors thesis which probed the communal problem in India.
Prior to joining Sanford Wittels & Heisler, Ms. Dhillon worked in the field of media and politics in Washington D.C. Her work has been referred to by organizations such as The Washington Post and CNN host Fareed Zakaria.
