Maya Perelman, Legal Assistant

Maya Perelman graduated with distinction from Stanford University in 2011, with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.
During her time at Stanford, Ms. Perelman worked with the Eviction Defense Collaborative, assisting individuals fighting unfair evictions or other inappropriate landlord actions. She also worked as an interpreter for the Stanford Law School’s Immigrants’ Rights Clinic. Ms. Perelman also served as a tutor and teacher’s assistant at a local public school, was the Raza Day Publicity and Fundraising Director for the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, and was a member of Stanford's Ballet Folklorico dance troupe and Kuumba African Dance and Drumming Ensemble. She also was involved in the Philosophical Theater Group, ultimately writing and directing her own play as her senior project.
She plans to attend law school in the future.
