Victoria Lomax |
In June 2011 Victoria Lomax graduated from Liverpool John Moores University, UK with a LLB Law Honors degree achieving first class awards in both her Company and Employment Law studies. Throughout University Victoria was an active member of the law society and interned at a number of established firms both nationally and internationally. During her final year, Victoria dedicated much of her time to work as a volunteer at Merseyside Employment Law, a not-for-profit community law center providing specialist advice and representation at Employment Tribunals. The aim of the organization is something Victoria is passionate about—gaining justice for individuals by tackling poverty, discrimination, and disadvantage.
Upon completion of her degree, Victoria enrolled in the Mountbatten Program. In August 2011 she was successful in gaining a 12 month internship with Sanford Wittels & Heisler. During her time with SWH in New York, Victoria will also study for a postgraduate certificate in business management, affiliated by St Mary’s College, London.
On returning to England, Victoria will complete her legal practice course to qualify as a solicitor in the UK.
