Wendy Hado |
Wendy Hado graduated from Dartmouth College in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology modified with Economics and a minor in Studio Arts. She received departmental academic citations and she was a Gates Millennium Scholar.
While at Dartmouth, Wendy was an active member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority, Inc., the Dartmouth College Gospel Choir and she served as a volunteer for the Student Teachers in the Arts (START) program to improve the Upper Valley Schools’ art programs. She participated in a study abroad program with University of Virginia where she traveled and studied in ten countries in Europe, Asia and Africa. In the summer of 2010, Wendy worked with engineering and medical school students in the Dartmouth Humanitarian Engineering (DHE) program to design, implement, and distribute fuel efficient cook stoves in the Kigoma Region of Tanzania. She served as the New Research Supervisor afterwards and helped DHE identify new technologies for future sustainable projects in Tanzania.
Prior to joining Sanford Wittels & Heisler, Wendy worked as a document clerk at the litigation division of Davis Polk & Wardwell, LLP in New York. She also worked as a Teacher Assistant for both the New York State Summer School for the Visual Arts and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Wendy plans to attend graduate school in the future.
