Ying Cheng graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in comparative literature. She also has an M.A. degree in comparative literature from Dartmouth College (2010) and an M.A. degree in English literature from Cornell University (2011).
While at Dartmouth, Ms. Cheng was a discussion leader for the Women in Leadership group at the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center, taught French and Mandarin Chinese for the language programs, was a tutor and writing assistant at the Institute for Writing and Rhetoric, and participated in a ten-week study abroad in Paris, France. In the summer of 2008, Ms. Cheng interned at Deutsche Bank Securities in the Financial Sponsors Group.
She plans to attend law school in the future.
